Company
Data for every street decision.
Cities decide about streets every day: speed limits, parking rules, new developments. Most of those decisions rest on a handful of measurements. We built Citylytics so they can rest on the whole street network.

What we do
We make street data available where it did not exist.
Traffic counts and parking surveys cover a few streets for a few days. The rest of the network is estimated, or not looked at.
Citylytics combines more than 100 data sources with in-house models to give traffic and parking values for every street segment, every hour, all year. Nothing is installed on the street.

History
From parking to the whole street.
Citylytics began as ParkingAid, a Stockholm company focused on parking. As the models grew to cover traffic, the platform expanded into street intelligence and took the Citylytics name. The company behind it is still ParkingAid AB.
Founded in Stockholm
ParkingAid starts with parking data and an app that helps drivers find parking and understand the rules.
The first cities
Municipalities begin using ParkingAid data to analyse parking occupancy without counting by hand.
Citylytics
Traffic joins parking. The platform covers the whole street network and is used in Sweden, Norway and beyond.

How we work
Three rules for the product.
- 01
No new infrastructure
We do not ask cities to install sensors or cameras. The data already exists. Our job is to combine and validate it.
- 02
The whole network, not a sample
A few measurement points cannot describe a city. Every analysis in Citylytics covers every street segment.
- 03
Built around real questions
Features start from the questions city teams actually ask: where, when, how much, and what changed.
